Meryl lives in Cowies Hill (near Durban) in beautiful KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. After leaving school she studied Home Economics, which she taught for seven years. She has been married to Ray, her best friend & own in-house IT consultant for nearly 30 years. They have two daughters - Raewyn (24) who is living at present in Dublin, and Kate (28) who married to Marc, and Mum to their first grandchild, Josh who is now one!

Sitting with a pile of wedding photos & doing a search on the internet on "Scrapbooking" led her to the discovery of Computer Scrapbooking in late 2002 and very quickly became addicted. She uses Photoshop CS (a Christmas gift from Ray) which she is totally in love with! As she works from home (in a direct selling company), with no boss watching, , it is a constant battle of wills not to just scrap all day! Her scrapping style changes with her mood - sometimes its very digital, sometimes paper style. She has won several contests & is due to be published in My Reflections and Threads & Crafts.

She and Ray are very enthusiastic caravanners - at least once a month they may be seen setting off with their comfortable little house on wheels behind them. She is the editor of the club magazine - The Flysheet, which is gradually filling with more & more photos & layouts. They also enjoy holidaying in the wild, every year making use of the timeshare at beautiful Sobhengu on the shores of Lake St.Lucia, a World Heritage Site.

Apart from scrapbooking & photography her hobbies are cooking & sewing, both of which are having less & less time spent on them....

BRODERIE ANGLAISE (aka Eyelet Lace) BRUSHES (Set 1)
[5 of 5 Stars]

"The possibilities that these brushes give is amazing. You can create some wonderful textures to your LO's making your own lace, tulle, ribbons, even embossed vellum. Absolute value for money. I also want to say that the tutorial the designer provides with the kit is extremely clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much Meryl."

A Space to Blend QuickClick
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Meryl's QC is not only a master of design, it is a template that can help you stretch your technique muscles. Using with blended photos and practice your extraction technique, or save the space for journaling - I find in LO's with lots of photos there is usually a detailed story to tell, but often now space to do so. Mery's templates always include great ideas and istructions - and don't forget teh coordinating ploppers if you want life to be easier. Definately do a search for Meryl's templates and quick clicks if you like multi-photo LO's. No one does these better. If you are looking fo ra title page idea for an album try one of her emultiphoto QC's using photos from elsewhere in the album - check out Meryl's own gallery for ideas."

"Fun, bubbly, baby bath kit - will work fabulously for heritage or modern photos. The novel idea of popping baby 'inside' the tub means no 'embarassing' baby bath photos later."

Feminine Denim
